Despite a short artistic career Miguel Aguirre has conquered a public who is keen of confronting his overdimensioned portraits which lead to questions about identity, appearances and reality. His oil paintings show with great realism portraits, worked from photographic images altered digitally, of those nearest to his social circle: friends, relatives , and those who have already died.
